DAMIEN GREEN VISITS HEADLEY BROTHERS,2008

On 1st August 2008, Headley Brothers was delighted to receive a visit by local MP, Damian Green. In the wake of the news that Eurostar will be re-opening its service from Ashford to Brussels, a move that he strongly supported, Mr Green’s visit was a timely reminder that the Ashford business community is thriving.

Roger Pitt, managing director, and Jon Pitt, commercial director, conducted a tour of the factory, including £2m of new investments: the new Speedmaster 102 and the Bravo stitcher; both introduced this year. Mr Green was also interested to view a demonstration of HeadWay, Headley Brother Digital’s image customisation software, and a demonstration of the new production scheduling system.

Roger Pitt, managing director, said, “As a long-standing member of the Ashford business community, we were delighted to welcome Damian to Headley Brothers, and show him some of our recent investments. Print is an exciting and fast-paced business, and we hope that our diverse range of services and latest investments made for an interesting and informative tour.”
