Headley Brothers invests in Muller Martini Bolero B8 Perfect Binder to bolster growth

Headley Brothers announces its investment in a Muller Martini Bolero B8 3028/21 perfect binder. Key features include automatic section recognition; Book Saw feature, enabling the efficient production of A5 products; and PUR binding capabilities.

The Bolero is equipped with a touch-screen commander control display, allowing the operator to customise and alter job formats with speed and ease. The benefits of automated size settings on feeders, the binding unit, three-knife trimmer and compensating stacker, ensure make-ready times are minimised.

The efficient automation significantly increases productivity and efficiency, illustrated by the machine’s production speed of up to 9,000 cycles per hour, making it ideal for processing products with runs in the 2,000 – 300,000 range.

The Bolero complements Headley Brothers’ existing finishing and fulfilment offerings, which include one other perfect binding line and four saddle-stitchers.
